UserIntroductionThe CardioWave system is designed to be fairly user friendly and adaptable to a wide range of simulation types. The input files that the user must set up are not entirely cryptic and may contain comments for further clarity. The output modules, at present, support a number of different file types which can be read into many post-processing or graphics visualization programs. The system can be run on a wide variety of computing platforms, including parallel computers. There should be no noticeable difference to the user when running on one or more processors. This document will lay out some of the "mechanics" of how the CardioWave system operates. It will explain how to create a simulator, how to manipulate input files, and how to run the program itself.
