Domain123spbThe Domain123spb module creates a 1-, 2-, or 3-D regular Cartesian grid. You must specify the number of nodes in each dimension (xdim, ydim, zdim) and the spacing of the nodes in each dimension (dx, dy, dz, in cm). Internally, Domain123spb uses a "sparse-banded matrix" implementation which requires a significant amount of memory -- more than Domain123spr -- and is relatively fast to compute with (faster than Domain123spr but slower than Domain123). However, it can only hold banded matrices, not just any sparse matrix. Regular and warped-regular grids tend to produce sparse-banded structures. See also Domain123 and Domain123spr. |
